-128-slice CT with High-definition and low-dose (up to 83% lower radiation dose), including cardiac imaging (CT calcium score and CT cardiac scans).
- 3 Ultrasound suites, equipped with the latest technology, offering both non-vascular (thyroid, abdominal, kidneys, pelvis, MSK) and vascular imaging (Doppler/Duplex of the Kidneys, carotids and lower extremities).

The Women’s imaging section is managed by dedicated Fellowship-trained Female breast Radiologist.

The women's imaging section is part of the Diagnostic Radiology department at CMC Dubai and includes a state-of-the-art 3D-Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Bone densitometry ,3T-MRI and an interventional suite (MRI-guided biopsy, US-guided biopsy and Stereotactic biopsy).
In addition, the women imaging section provides dedicated protocols for imaging of the pelvis:
-3T MRI of the pelvis with dedicated protocols for gynecological diseases (endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, pelvic congestion syndrome and gynecological malignancies).
- Hysterosalpingogram for the evaluation of infertility and tubal patency.
The Nuclear medicine department is equipped with the latest technology available, allowing very early and accurate detection and staging of disease:
- PET-CT scanner with excellent lesion detectability, spatial resolution, and quantification accuracy for improved cancer staging and follow-up on response to treatment.
- SPECT (Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography); distinguished by a larger bore and shorter tunnel length—for more comfortable and shorter scans. It offers both cardiac (MUGA scan for an accurate ejection fraction quantification, Cardiac scintigraphy for assessment of myocardial viability) and non-cardiac imaging (Thyroid/Parathyroid, Bone, Lung perfusion, Liver and renal scans).
Our interventional radiology section is equipped with state-of-the-art machines that enables us to perform minimally invasive procedures using medical imaging guidance, such as x-ray fluoroscopy, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, or ultrasound. IR performs both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures through very small incisions or body orifices.
-Diagnostic IR procedures are those intended to help make a diagnosis or guide further medical treatment and include image-guided FNA/biopsy of a tumor or injection of an imaging contrast agent into a hollow structure, such as a blood vessel or a duct.
-Therapeutic IR procedures provide direct treatment—they include catheter-based medicine delivery (Nerve blocks for back pain etc…), medical device placement (e.g., stents, IVC filter), and angioplasty of narrowed structures.
The main benefits of interventional radiology techniques are that they can reach the deep structures of the body through a body orifice or tiny incision using small needles and wires. That decreases risks, pain, and recovery compared to open procedures.
